Pran Bay Leaves
Bay Leaves are generally used as an herb. They are green in colour and generally have a rough texture. They also contain high levels of vitamin A, vitamin C and iron. When mixed with water, it gives off a minty flavour, with a subtle bitterness and hints of black pepper. For best storage, place in a sealed bag and store in refrigerator.
The flavour is strengthened with the length of cooking time. Bay leaves are rich in vitamin b, vitamin c, copper, potassium, calcium and manganese and are for heart and kidney health.
