NorDar Couscous Fine
This fine couscous is a light and fluffy grain that is a staple in Middle Eastern and African cuisine. Made from durum wheat semolina, couscous is an excellent and convenient pantry staple, since it only requires soaking in boiling water to cook. This extra fine couscous is most popular in Moroccan cooking, where it is combined with raisins and caramelised onions for a signature dish.
Couscous brilliantly absorbs flavour so is a great addition to many dishes. Cook in a chicken broth, stir through cumin and coriander or create a harissa broth for an extra burst of flavour when preparing it. It also works wonderfully in summer Middle Eastern salads, or serve with a rich Lamb tagine.
